do you think the weird interlacing is part of the look & feel or a mistake?
totally part of the look.
If you look at early music videos… or even films from the seventies… they have that cheesy green screen look. In this case the interlacing is perhaps a tribute to old… TUBE TVs… right before we had progressive scanning television signals :P or digital TVs… HDTV… etc.
Janine looks great in that video.
